ther is no documentation for this stuff i might get round to it at soem stage if requested.
basically
just type make
in the asmlib directory and it should build and produce the following libs.
libasm16.a - 16 bit  for running on dos.
libasm32.a - same stuff but for 32 bit apps

ther are also a couple of small libs with some serial coms stuff for anybody who has a  doubletalk  lt speech synth.
-- which are now sadly a dying breed but were quite good fun in there day.

libdt32.a

i built this on a bare bones system and it seems to build fine so i think all is ok

in order to build code for the libs you will need to stick the libs in your library path somewhere
and for dos get the separate dosutils package which allows you to build .com and mz .exes for running under native dos or emulators such as bochs.
the 32 bit stuff can be linked into any 32 bit elf prog.
